702* A Great Day to Celebrate

There is a great new restaurant in Summerlin called 702 Public Schools, named after our area code. I guess the owners have one in California with a similar name--the area code of that district. The theme of the restaurant is so much fun--lined paper napkins, sections of the menu like a cafeteria or the school day, like recess for desserts. My work family loves going over there to celebrate our successes, birthdays, and promotions, or just having fun together!

When a challenge on Scrap Our Stash had a Bingo space of grid paper, it made me think of this place and a picture I had from our last get-together there. So, here is my layout:

using the sketch and Bingo (last row) on the challenge: Numbers, Metal, Chipboard, Flair, Grid Paper. My numbers are chipboard, but I used additional chipboard stickers to meet that bingo square( celebrate and dotted circle)

I used the following supplies: PP: jillibean soup, simple stories, hotp. metal: pressed petals, flair: doodlebug, chipboard: sassafras, ep. washi: gcd, queen & co.

Espresso my Gratitude!

This girl runs on Dunkin'! Almost daily I stop at Dunkin' to get my iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich with my Dunkin' Rewards app on my phone. I am addicted to the iced dark roast with peppermint mocha! I just love it! I took a picture one day of my addiction, and it was perfect for this challenge on Paper Issues.

Here's the layout expressing my gratitude for my daily Dunkin' fix. Thanks for stopping by! I loved finding DD Parker on the Porch items on the Paper Issues store!

supplies: cs: DCWV, pp: Jillibean Soup, MME. puffy: parker on the porch, stickers: pink paislee, AC.

Here's the sketch and the twist is to add something metal.

3 Amigos with Sketchy Saturday

I had this lone picture from a fun evening with two of my favorite friends just waiting for the perfect design idea. Well, along comes Paper Issues again with a great sketch highlighting a single photo! I flipped through my photos and knew this was it.

Here's the terrific sketch that I know I'll reference again because it was so much fun! I went with a simple and clean layout, but it could be layered, misted, use a section for journaling, etc.

and my finished layout:

Supplies used: pp: AC, Boxer Scrapbook Productions, HOTP. stickers: AC, Glitz stone, MME chipboard, sassafras. twine: The Twinery.

Fan-atic!

I have been a Steelers fan since I was a little girl, and people would choose between Dallas and Pittsburgh! I really love football season, and I even get involved with Fantasy Football with my coworkers. Having a challenge on Paper Issues to show what you're a fanatic about was perfect for a photo I have wearing a new Steeler Football t-shirt.

Here's my layout:

Supplies: pp: Boxer Scrapbook Productions, HOTP,. cs: SC, stickers: HOTP Bedazzles, ink: Recollections, misc: doily, bottle cap created with free CK printable and diamond glaze.

Thanks for stopping by! Go Steelers! Black and Yellow!

Heart

Another great sketch challenge is taking place on Paper Issues! I turned this sketch and used 2 photos instead of one. I love how easy it can be to twist a sketch to your purpose when needed. I usually stick to a sketch, but this time I switched it up!

Here's the original sketch:
And my layout. This was so simple, and so much fun!
Supplies: pp: DCWV, cards: Paper Studios, trim: GCD, Stickers; Adorn It. gems: Queen & Co.

Flamingo Casino--Hidden Oasis

I finally was inspired to create using some pictures I took two years ago at the Flamingo Casino. I live in the Las Vegas area, and it's always nice to find some beautiful scenery in the most unexpected places! These pictures were taken at the Flamingo in their center outdoor area that you can only access by going through the casino.

My source of inspiration was Scrap Our Stash's L.A.Y.E.R. and sketch challenge.
